Hi there! I'm Jonathan Appell, and I'm here to lend my voice to your project and bring your vision to life.

Who Am I?

I'm not your typical voice actor. My journey began in the world of audio engineering and production over 30 years ago. Through countless commercials, films, TV shows, and music projects, I've honed my craft and soaked up knowledge from some of the best in the business.

How It All Started

During the downtime of these sessions, I'd often slip into my "radio voice" for a bit of fun. To my surprise, my colleagues were genuinely impressed by it, and encouraged me to take my voice skills to the next level.

In 2019, after years of coaxing, I finally took the plunge. I submitted a demo for the US Open Tennis Championship radio spots, competing against seasoned pros. And guess what? I landed the gig on my very first audition! Since then, I've been the voice behind the US Open's radio campaigns for three consecutive tournaments.
